Salaam to All of YOU, FRIENDS!!! My Name Is Elnar RajSur. Whole my life I struggle for my love to INDIAN MUSIC. It's became my heartbeat, my life, Meri Qismat. Afsos Yeh Baat Hai Ki I was born very far from India. And I am Non-Indian. I am an Azeri from Father's and a Russian from Mother side. Was born in very beautiful Baku-city (capital of Azerbaijan).
For long years when I faced strong Resistance from my parents which were not encouraged with my serious Life Decision to be in Indian Music Art expressing it like they said: "That's not our Culture", I had to leave my home and last long years I have shifted to Russia and live in Moscow - (capital of Russia).
Despite of I am Russian I have been singing Hindi Songs for 20 years, which eight of it as the regularly working performer. I am sure that is my Destiny because I was born at the same day with Great Raj Kapoor on 14 december. And my voice.., it's always remind and sounds like Suresh Wadkar's one. Even among all Indians I am called Russian Suresh Wadkar 8-)
So.., that's why I decided adopted my stage Surname with some short combination between Raj Kapoor and Suresh Wadkar.
Like this I have become RajSur, because my the first love to Indian Cinema started from Raj Kapoor's Movies and my love to singing was influenced by Suresh Wadkar after again Raj Kapoor's "Ram Teri Ganga Maili" in 1985 when I was just 9 years old. He was my first and main inspirer to become a Singer of Hindi Songs. And from my early childhood since these days I devoted whole myself for Indian Music. I believe that Music has no language and I live and very happy to be a part of it.
My fate played a mean trick on me that I was born so far from India. Despite of it I spend a great deal of my time on Indian music and singing. I do my level best to append and improve degree of my performance and own style to be a right singer. Unfortunately, I speak in Hindi not so well, but I can read, write and understand almost everything.
